Michigan is no longer the fisherman’s paradise it used to be. In-fact the number of licensed anglers in the State are on a decline. Partially because our water ways are literally becoming open sewers.
In February 2008 we had a release of 43 million gallons of partially treated sewage into the Saginaw Bay. That’s around 37 gallons of sewage for every licensed angler in the State. Not to mention that is just one release! There have been many more.

Not just the US, mate, but many countries are polluting their waterways and lakes. Even in NZ we have many lakes that are 'dying'!
But there are some groups of people fighting back against pollution.
